Here is a request that I colored. :D It is done by a FA friend(which also has a DA account like me) I have who I wanted of a group pic of 2 of my favorite girls from 2 different series which are also my faves. Here is Krystal(Starfox series) having a friendly chat with Sally Acorn(Sonic series) while taking a break from their adventures. Don't they make a good duo? :aww: I hope you like it, my friend. As for the rest, enjoy!! :iconfoxpfftplz: ^^

True. And what makes you say that in a strange way? :)

One is a video game character from Japan and the other an American invention. It's pretty odd seeing them together in the same universe.

But it's cool nonetheless. Now I want to see SatAM Sonic and Fox hanging out at a bar somewhere :XD:

Wanna know something funny but true? Sonic and Fox both involve rings, war that involves a mad scientist, and shakey romances, a cross-over between the two would be a perfect match...plus...they both have fighter jets, Tails from the X series as the X Typhoon, Fox and the team have the Arwings. Sonic rides on the wings of the X Typhoon, Fox has been noted from Assault to do wing riding...and their arch enemies, Andross and Dr Julian Robotnick or now known as Eggman...in which his SATAM persona was far more evil than his modern self...just look up the old episodes and you'll know what I mean...both have technical genius while also being in a horrible physical condition...anywho...the two would make a great cross-over!! Old series for the win!!

It could happen since Sega is no longer making gaming platforms...in which now-a-days most Sonic games are done on a nintendo system if not spanning out to the PS3 and 360...and the DS and 3DS...heck...seeing how Star Fox has such a small franchise in terms of game releases...pretty much all of Fox's popularity comes from the Smash Bros series because he's pretty much the best fighter out of everyone else...not to mention his reputation for being fast in the Smash Bros universe is what made him enter Sonic's territory...because they're both fast...Sonic's just faster...but Fox has been fighting longer since he was in the original N64 version where it was just Super Smash Bros.

But on a side note...both franchises have gone astray with mediocre releases...Star Fox's best game to date was Adventures for the Gamecube, sad to say the game was still incomplete and originally wasn't mean't to be a Star Fox game in the first place....Star Fox Adventures' real name during the beta development was called Dinosaur Planet and Krystal was originally mean't to be the main character...and the game itself was mean't for the N64 just like the original Legend Of Zelda Orcarina Of Time, you can compair since both games have identical gameplay. The only reason it became a Star Fox game was because of the possible game console generation gap and the impending release date which left a lot of content from being used. As for Assault...mediocre at best...when word of the game got out...people were expecting another Adventures styled game which really would've been better...but nope...nintendo tried to go back to its roots and failed...as for Command...in my own opinion...that game alone is what ruined the franchise...not just because it was a DS release...but because of what happened in the game itself...better off to mark that game off as a spin off instead of bringing it into the main franchise storyline...and then there's the fact that Star Fox has had a few unreleased games...one of them was gonna be called Armada which probably took place directly after Adventures and before Assault...but rumor has it that the game got destroyed before release or something like that...there was even word of it in an old issue of game informer where it talked about Armada but showed a screen-shot of Assault instead.

As for Sonic...I don't know what to say about his current modern releases...ever since Adventures and Adventures 2 Battle for the Gamecube...Sega just hasn't been able to get back on their game with their mascot...and surprisingly enough...Sega of America has never released or made a game that revolved around the SATAM storyline...ever since "Next Gen" Sonic came into the fray, it's like everyone forgot about Sally, Rotor, Antoine, and Bunny...they pretty much got replaced by the X cast of Sonic by characters like Rouge, Shadow, Blaze, Cream and Cheese, along with Silver and Big...can't truely say Amy since she first debuted in the Sonic CD for the Sega Saturn. As for Knuckles...well...way back he had his own comic and cast which set his own personal story apart from Sonic's...even Sally and Tails had their own individual comics. As for side characters like Vector, Charmy, and Espio...they were in Knuckles old comics so they're actually original despite not looking like it...heh...quite a history for both franchises eh?

Well you need to understand that the Starfox series is really popular and I'm certain that we will expect to see a new one coming out for the Wii U since they didn't even bother bringing it to the Wii and the same goes for F-Zero and Pikmin which fans also wanted along with Starfox. I like every single Starfox game that they have released minus Command since I never played it that much. As for Sonic, I have been a Sonic fan since its first incarnation on the Genesis back in '91 and still am to this moment while the same goes for Starfox since it first came out in '93. Sure some of the recent Sonic games people have critiqued a bit on it. But I have enjoyed playing them over the years with the exception of Sonic '06 which is considered to be the worst Sonic game of all time. For SF Command, the story in that game was considered non-canonical. I rather much prefer that for the new Starfox game on the Wii U that it follows after Assault through a canonical approach. For Sonic, the recent game Sonic Colors has proven to be very good and they are going to continue with that approach in Sonic Generations and hopefully future Sonic games down the road.

It would be nice to have a Star Fox game that took place after Assault, and it would also be good to have one that takes place after Adventures, if Nintendo did that, then perhaps it would give more insight into what happened to the team over the years from their ups and downs, but one huge question is...what style of gameplay will they use? Will they go back to the rail shooter style like they did in the 64 version, be on foot and solve puzzles like Adventures, or be a mix like they did in Assault? Another question would be, who will do the voice acting? Plus, what if Nintendo tried to go and do something totally different with the franchise? I'm not saying anything for certain or granted, but game franchises can change in an instant based off of the game release itself, for all we know, they might make a Star Fox game that would an over the shoulder third person shooter like Resident Evil 4 and 5, as for the whole blood and gore thing, well that's up to Nintendo, but we are talking about space mercenaries who shoot and kill waves of enemies, heck, you could even look at Metroid Prime The Other M and notice how crazy and physical Samus has gotten, surprised there's no blood in Legend Of Zelda since you're slashing enemies up with a sharp sword...but yes...in most Nintendo games you also have humor to think about...wonder if they'll pair up with Rareware or Naughty Dog since both studios specialize in anthro humor, just look at Crash Bandicoot and Conker, freakin' hilarious!! And the final thing to take into consideration with a game that fills in the blanks, are pretty much who're gonna be the new antagonists and will some of the original ones like Star Wolf make a reappearance?

As for Sonic, well...don't have much more to say about him since most of his games are stage based instead of storyline based...sometimes a mix.
